History

Beginning of the history

The company's activities began on November 7, 1996, with the commissioning of a workshop for packaging oils and lubricants in Poltava. The company employed 8 people. The first clients were owners of auto shops, sellers in the markets, and end consumers.

The company acted as an investor in the construction of the Cherkasy Autochemistry Plant, one of the largest enterprises in Ukraine specializing in the production and sale of technical fluids for the automotive industry. The company's products are exported to more than 50 countries. Since 2018, the company has ceased cooperation with CAP.

Auto centre

On April 7, 2006, the largest auto center in Ukraine called "Avtohimkomplekt" was opened, specializing in the purchase/sale of cars, spare parts, auto chemicals, as well as the provision of auto service. In 2020, rebranding was carried out, the retail direction of the GPL group of companies (auto shops and auto services) was named ROOLER.

Opening of a branch in Kharkiv, servicing the territory of the Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk and Sumy regions.

Logistics center

Construction and commissioning of a logistics center in Poltava.

Joint activities

Creation of a joint venture with Valmi, a major distributor of auto components. Start of work in new regions — trade in auto parts in Central and Eastern Ukraine.

Own production

Opening of a complex for the production, packaging, storage of lubricants with a total turnover of materials of 30 thousand tons/year.

On April 7, 2007, the second auto center "Avtohimkomplekt" was opened in Kremenchuk, the specialty of which is the provision of professional services in the field of painting works.

Logistics center

Construction and commissioning of a new office and logistics center in Poltava with a warehouse area of ​​4,200 sq.m.

Car service

Opening of a unique GPL car service, specializing in servicing both passenger cars and trucks. Serves 25 cars at a time, has its own painting and restoration department and turning shop. In 2020, rebranding was carried out, the retail direction of the GPL group of companies (car shops and car services) was named ROOLER.

Opening of an office and logistics center in Boryspil, serving the territory of the Kyiv region and the city of Kyiv, as well as the Zhytomyr, Chernihiv, Cherkasy, Vinnytsia regions.

Opening of a branch in the village of Ostrov

Opening of a branch in the village of Ostriv, Ternopil region, which serves the Ternopil, Khmelnytsky, Rivne, Volyn, Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Zakarpattia and Chernivtsi regions.

GPL rebranding

In 2019, the GPL company was rebranded. The company's mission and plans for the next 5 years were formed, and a social package for employees was introduced. A new identity and communication strategy with clients appeared.

Vira rebranding

In 2019, the brand VIRA was rebranded.
The brand has more than 200 SKU and includes technical fluids and lubricants.

Launch of own brand of aerosol paints MITKA with an assortment of more than 330 SKUs, which includes automotive and universal lines, varnishes and primers.

Mobil 1 Centеr

Opening of an authorized Mobil 1 center based on ROOLER car service.

WMS system

WMS was implemented in all the company's warehouses. The system ensures transparency of all warehouse processes including their online tracking, reduces the number of errors arising due to the human factor, reduces the order assembly time, and increases the efficiency of warehouse space use.

Logistics hub Re:born

Opening of the Re:born logistics hub in Poltava with a warehouse area of ​​12,000 m². The complex also provides services for the rental of commercial warehouse space and responsible storage of goods.

TMS system

Implementation of a transport logistics management system (TMS) to improve the quality of customer service. A modern application for the company's drivers has been created, which helps to optimize and control the delivery process.

Automated packaging line

A new step in the development of production is the launch of an automated packaging line for cooling and brake fluids, summer and winter windshield washers. The productivity of the line is up to 60,000 kg of finished products per day.

Power plants

Commissioning of independent power generating facilities (power plants) at all facilities of the GPL group of companies with a total capacity of 400 kW.

Production line

Launch of our own line for blowing PET containers. Blowing machines, the productivity of which reaches up to 3500 pieces/hour, have been installed and mastered.

E-commerce project

Launch of the ROOLER e-commerce project. A modern online store of auto goods brought the company closer to the end consumer and provided them with the opportunity to receive any product from the company's warehouses and stores on the day of the order, as well as by postal operators the next day after the order. We offer free delivery from 1000 UAH.

Water treatment equipment

Installation of a water treatment equipment complex with a capacity of 2 m³/h to obtain demineralized water of the highest degree of purification with reduced salt content. This made it possible to use water of our own production for high-quality antifreezes and washers.

Solar panels

Installation of solar panels in the company's warehouses with a total capacity of 50 kW, which in sunny weather cover a significant part of the enterprise's electricity consumption. Thus, we have made the company's contribution to the preservation of the environment, as well as saving on energy resources and the energy independence of the enterprise.

Own laboratory

Opening of a laboratory for testing samples of our own production and providing independent sample testing services in Ukraine.
The work of the laboratory for quality control of petroleum products and auto chemicals was organized. The laboratory is equipped with the necessary latest devices, equipment for process optimization and maximum accuracy of testing. In particular control of oils, diesel fuel, brake fluids, antifreezes, winter and summer washers is carried out. Currently the laboratory has more than 15 devices for testing products.

Expansion of warehouse space

Doubling the warehouse space of the Ternopil branch made it possible to maintain a wider and wider range of products, which positively affected the service of customers in the western regions of Ukraine.

Launch of own brand of spare parts Novvic. Batteries for cars and trucks.
